Dr. Cheng
Dr. Elizabeth Cheng grew up in Houston, Texas, and has wanted to be a dentist since the first grade! She attended dental school at the University of Texas – Houston School of Dentistry, where she graduated in 2013 and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Following dental school, she completed a postgraduate General Practice Residency and went on to practice for a decade in a small town outside of Houston.
Dedicated to continuous learning, Dr. Cheng has completed over 500 hours of advanced continuing education. She holds the distinction of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and has pursued specialized training at the Spear Academy, as well as with CEREC computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology.
In early 2025, Dr. Cheng and her husband, Andrew, relocated to Richmond to be closer to family. They attend Living Hope Church RVA in Goochland and in her spare time, she enjoys running, cooking, watching America’s Test Kitchen with her husband, and exploring parks with their two young boys.
Dr. Cheng is committed to providing compassionate, gentle, and high-quality dental care – the kind of care she would want for herself! She values building lasting relationships with patients and their families, working closely with them to achieve healthy and confident smiles they can feel proud of. She is honored to work alongside Dr. Murchie and excited to serve the Goochland community and surrounding areas!
